God is Not Looking for Perfection

If God accepted only perfect people into His kingdom, we would all be in trouble. For "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" (Romans3:10) Instead, He simply asks us to change our mind (repent) on how we live, and what we believe in. He asks us to turn around, and head towards Him.   "Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." (Mark 1:14&15)

It's not complicated - all He wants is our heart! "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9) Jesus told us to "love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind." (Matthew 22:37) I can promise you this: The more you get into His word, the Holy Bible, the more this will come naturally to you.

Not so sure you believe any of this, but want to find out for yourself? Then the best thing for you might be to hear His word..."So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." (Romans 10:17) Find a church that teaches and preaches the KJV Bible, and sit down beside anyone you like - there is a 100% chance that that person, just like you, is not perfect!
